Joe Cornelius is an Assistant Professor of Digital Media Productions at the Knight School of Communication at Queens University of Charlotte.  He received his Associates in Applied Sciences from Western Piedmont Community College in Digital Effects & Animation Technology, Bachelor in Fine Arts in Cinematography from University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and his Masters in Fine Arts in Documentary Filmmaking from Wake Forest University.  His work includes ESPN’s 30 for 30 short film, “When The King Held Court”, “Mike”, and “Over Home: Love songs from Madison County”.  His award-winning creative works have been showcased in exhibits and festivals such as Anthology Film archives of New York City, Sony Pictures Studios of Los Angles, and the Chicago International Movies and Music Festival.
